As you’ve probably guessed by reading umpteen articles on A’stan and from Alan’s rather basic view the politics of Afghanistan are rather complicated. The country is a hodgepodge of ethnic groups who live in an uneasy peace which is pierced regulary in armed confrontations either between rival clans or even between clans and NATO ISAF itself acting on false information given by a rival.
And so we edge ever closer and closer to that magical 100 pages. Its been a wild (if slow) ride if that makes any sense but it has been very enjoyable! Issue three if about to come to a close and we’re going to ply you with tasty and declious art from Jules before we move into part four.
Yes I’m excited as well! Calm down and take your seats again please chaps. Jules has really had her game face on and is really focused on making Hard Graft as brilliant and from what I’ve seen so far in the last few weeks we’re well on the way towards getting there. Listen to the latest TGT webcomic podcast (when it comes out) where Jules covers her other comic Valkrye Squadron as well as her hopes and fears about jumping into Hard Graft.

Here is the update that was meant to be LAST WEEKS update. Sorry again for the woeful delay but I’ve been stuck in Kelowna, BC in Canada working my arse off and haven’t had a chance to touch the comic all week. By the way what they say about being held in Canadian immigration purgatory? Its all true (got the five hours of being held on work permit discrepancies to prove it).
Too exhausted to complain, may well blog about it later this week to perhaps stay tuned?
Another awkward silence is something up or arethey just dog tired? Find out next week! *dramatic music*
Saw that the last two pages caused a bit of debate in the comments so I’ll explain a couple of things later this evening. Suffice it to say however that some of your suspicions are well founded!
EDIT 17:29 GMT: Okay a few things people have been discussing as of late have been who are in the mysterious choppers. A few of you have come out with some good answers although the exact composition of the force heading towards the Talibob platoon house may surprise a few of you and I urge you all to flick back an issue (or perhaps a side story) or two for clues.
Work has been very busy and for some reason I completely forgot to update last monday so for that I seriously apologise. Very bad form on my part and all that. I may get some help to get stuff posted on time if I am away on business (which I will be throughout November).
As for the comic I have been working hard with Jules. Issue four has been finalised and issue five is close to completion. We’ve even made a good start on issue six. We’re aiming to link a lot of stuff we’ve mentioned in the past three issues and multiple side stories together, introduce new characters and bring more action to your screens. I’m thinking that we can start working on book 2 as well as some other projects considering the sheer amount of material we have now.
