Now that wasn’t a good start to a holiday…unless she signed up for the Taliban theme weekend option in which case she’s getting top dollar!
Now her captors are off to panel four of this page where they’ll go download and upload all the videos of her dancing in her jim-jams singing to Abba’s “Waterloo” while drunk from her mobile phone to YouTube. Life can be incredibly cruel sometimes.
I have an interesting dilemma. I’ve just dropped something around the size of £30 on the Patlabor 1 super-duper special edition with lots of crazy stuff including an art book in english by Mamoru Oshi and more. I’m a huge Patlabor fan partly because I saw it before I had even heard of Evangelion and by the time that came out it was all too late for me. Anyway, now I’m tempted to blow more of my money (which I really shouldn’t do) on stuff as a new shop called Tokyo Otaku has come about. I’m not biting and I keep telling myself that it can wait until April but for how long can I keep it up. Time will tell.

And now they’re bombarding her with cricket smack talk! Oh ul-Haq you cad!
This I felt was reasonably important as Cricket is a massive game in the Asian sub-continent and the likes of India & Pakistan are the two major financial power players behind the game with big television contracts with News Corp and ESPN oiling the wheels to Cricket domination. Inzaman ul-Haq was Captain of the Pakistan cricket team.
This comic I’ve scheduled (or I hope I’ve scheduled) to be automatically put up by 7am GMT on Monday morning as I’ll be just finishing work at that time. After exhaustive research, I’ve found that most North American webcomics update at 7am GMT so when choosing which time to update I had to choose that. On the bright side, if anyone complains that I haven’t updated the comic at 7am, I can say that its still Monday all day where I am in the world.
Then again, I could turn off GMail and turn on the coverage of the West Indies vs England. Currently watching the third test and a solid partnership being formed by Cook & Strauss acheiving their 13th 50th test partnership. The Kensington Oval at Bridgetown, Barbados is an immensely satisfying venue and being able to watch a sport via the luxury of a nice swimming pool holding a nice an of Banks Beer really does sound like a dream holiday for me. Got to go there one day…
Anyway, I’m waffling now so I’ll let you get on with it and enjoy the comic!

Oh dear, oh dear!
I like pages without dialogue. Sometimes, what you see can tell you a lot more than what is being said and hopefully what I wrote and what German drew has conveyed that to you the webcomic universe.
This is currently a double bubble special until the new week where the regular Monday – Friday schedule will resume. Some quick-fire pages to get the basic storyline going should help whet your appetite for whats ahead.
I’ve seen the sketches for whats to come in issue two (yes, we’re already working on issue 2) and I must say its hilarious. Absolutely chuffed with how well things are going.
