Prestwick narrowly passed a fitness test of his own after suffering from a terrible bout of man flu (terrible I know). This week Pressy & Jules will be chatting about:

It was a close one but this week after a last minute fitness test, Jules Rivera was cleared to podcast with the lads (Prestwick & Albone) where they talked about sickness & cigars in Las Vegas as well as settings, music and how they affect the development of webcomics. Speaking of webcomics, Prestwick has a random rant about “Open Source comics towards the end” VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

Like a disturbing sight upon the horizon, Prestwick returns with Pond to Pond. Because Jules is away trying to escape from the horrors of Las Vegas, we decided to get Amy & Dave (Nancy) from o31.net in on the action.
We decided to talk about women in webcomics, first covering gender in each other’s comics before turning our withering gaze on others!

Pond to Pond #1 : Starting as a webcomic writer and Comic Con madness.

So myself & Jules Rivera of Marsh Rocket fame decided to make a podcast. Its pretty short (roughly about 30 minutes or so) and we cover a few topics mainly:
* Comic Con vendor musings.
* How to get an artist as a webcomic writer.
* Looking into particulars on Hard Graft.
We had a good laugh making it and we’re looking into making it a regular feature so why not check it out!

None at all. A bit rubbish really.
Well, this wraps up the end of issue one and I hope you’ve all enjoyed this rough and ready introduction into this world I have cast for you all. Cast is a little too grand a word to use, maybe written or created? I don’t know, it is a bit of a heavy evening seeing something you’ve worked on come to life and you get those feelings of (emo) dread which I won’t bore you with.
Issue two is at the finishing line with the first pages (almost) ready. We’re racing for a start date of the 8th so fingers crossed! On Friday, I’m going to release some of the sketches for issue two and I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I did.
